The Lady Leopards celebrated a night of recognition to the seniors in a way not even imagined — away from home.  A big shout out to Princeton for allowing us to play on their home site even though they were supposed to play at Lovejoy. Lovejoy scored 19 runs on 15 hits and committed 2

Lovejoy maintains their 2nd place spot in District 10-5A with one game remaining in the regular season.  The Lady Leopards jumped out to an 8 run lead by the end of the 2nd inning and only allowed 1 run to score.  Lovejoy scored 8 runs on 11 hits and committed 1 error.  Denison scored 1 run

Despite the loss, Lovejoy showed tremendous improvement from the last meeting between theses two teams.  Previously, the Lady Leopards managed 8 hits, but struck out 7 times.  This meeting proved the ability of Lovejoy and the desire to keep fighting.  Tonight, the Lady Leopards scored 5 runs on 14 hits and committed 4 errors.  McKinney

Lovejoy began the second round of district tonight against the Lady Raiders of Wylie East.  Lovejoy scored 13 runs on 15 hits and committed 3 errors.  Wylie East scored 2 runs on 9 hits and committed 4 errors. Lovejoy scored 2 runs in the 2nd inning, 2 in the 3rd inning, 5 in the 4th

Some might consider an 11-1 win a blow-out, but this was truly one hard fought contest.  Princeton kept Lovejoy off the bases to start the game, and though Lovejoy scored 5 runs in the 2nd inning, 1 in the 4th, and 5 in the 5th inning, this game very well could have gone longer.  Lovejoy

Lovejoy came out on fire scoring 11 runs in the 1st inning of the game to beat Denison 15-2 in 5 innings.  Sydney Provence threw lights out giving up only 2 runs on 1 hit in the game.  She tacked on 2 strikeouts and played her position defensively as well to help her cause from the circle. 

The Varsity Softball team lost a hard fought battle against McKinney North at home tonight.  The Lady Leopards gave up 5 runs in the 5th inning to make playing catch up challenging to do.  In the game, the visiting Lady Bulldogs scored 7 runs on 13 hits and committed 3 errors.  Lovejoy scored 4 runs
