Wrestling keeps rolling–wins two more duals versus tough 6A foes!

The men’s wrestling team won again tonight, this time facing two traditionally strong 6A teams, Coppell and Justin Northwest.  With the two wins, the Leopards push their record to 11-4 overall. The Lovejoy men’s varsity team flexed its muscles once again, this time sweeping two district matches with Lancaster and McKinney high schools.  Lovejoy only lost 5 matches en route to the 60-19 win over Lancaster and 66-12 win over McKinney. Men’s Wrestling Places 5th in State Dual Championship in Bryan!

The Men’s Wrestling team capped off a solid day of wrestling with a thrilling 40-34 win over the host school, Bryan, to claim 5th place in State Dual Championship.  The Leopards finished the day with a 3-2 record and the first-ever top 5 finish in this event in the school’s history! The middle school boys and girls teams wrestled a great tournament on Saturday, placing 2nd overall out of a strong field of 17 teams. The Leopard Varsity wrestling team placed 4th out of 10 teams at the St. Mark’s Lone Star Pools tournament this past weekend.
