Ryan Brands Qualifies for USAT 2017 Sprint Triathlon World Championships

This summer, senior, Ryan Brands competed at the USAT Nationals in Omaha, Nebraska. His performance qualified him to represent the United States on Team USA in the USAT 2017 Sprint Triathlon World Championships. The draft-legal sprint triathlon will take place in Rotterdam, Netherlands, September 14th – 17th.

Lovejoy Track and Field Honors Its Record-Breaking Season

The 2016-2017 Track and Field season was like no other for the boys and girls track and field teams. The boys and girls teams had 147 athletes participate in 17 track and field events this season. Chase Van Wagoner Finishes 3rd at UIL State Track and Field Championships

Chase Van Wagoner entered the UIL State Track and Field meet with the 5th best qualifying mark and left with a 3rd place finish. He improved his school record jump of 23’2.75″ to 23’4″ for the bronze medal, becoming Lovejoy’s first Boys’ track team member to medal at the UIL State Track and Field Championships.

Two Leopards Headed to 2017 UIL Track and Field State Championships

The Lovejoy Leopards Boys and Girls Track and Field teams competed at the 5A Region II Track and Field Championships at the University of Texas at Arlington on April 28th and 29th.
