The Lady Leopards lost the first game of the Buda Hays Tournament to Connally by a score of 63-40. The Leopards took a 5 point lead into halftime but were not able to maintain the lead in the second half. Lovejoy was led by Carsen McFadden with 12 points. Other scorers included Alexandra Brungardt 8 points, Grace Bennett 7 points, Ireland Miller 7 points, and Julia Brochu 6 points. Other statistical leaders were Alexandra Brungardt 8 rebounds, Carsen McFadden 6 assists, Julia Brochu and Carsen McFadden 3 steals apiece, and Addison Hand 3 blocks.
