Lovejoy Varsity Baseball Eke Out Seven Hits, Not Enough To Best Texas
Even though Lovejoy Varsity Baseball collected seven hits to Texas’s four, they still fell 8-2 on Wednesday in the first round of the playoffs.

Cameron Radney got the win for Texas. He went seven innings, allowing two runs on seven hits, striking out four and walking one.
Jacob Eschler took the loss. He lasted four innings, allowing four hits and six runs while striking out three.
Lovejoy racked up seven hits on the day. Luke Howell and Mason Marsh each collected two hits. Marsh hit a two run home run and a double.

Lovejoy is behind in the series 0-1 in the best of 3. The leopards will travel to Texarkana on Friday for game 2. Game time is 7pm.
