Girls 7th Grade Soccer, Girls 8th Grade Soccer · 7th Grade Girls Soccer Win District & 8th Grade Finish in 3rd Place

Tuesday night the 7th grade girls soccer team beat Rockwall Cain 5-2. The first goal was scored by Hannah Daehnert from outside the box after a pass from Natalie Knight. The second goal was scored by Cambry Patrick after receiving a pass from Annie Clay and going on a long solo run. Kailey Littlefield scored the third goal after an assist from Taylor Person. Taylor scored the fourth goal after an assist from Cambry Patrick. Taylor finished off the scoring for the Leopards with a shot from distance after receiving a pass from Kiera Watson.

The win on Tuesday brought the 7th grader’s record to a perfect 6-0 on the season which earned them a district title. The district title is the first in at least six years for the girls program. Congrats girls!!!

Tuesday night the 8th grade girls soccer team lost to Rockwall Cain 7-0. With the result, the 8th graders finished 2-2-1 on the season, finishing 3rd place in district. The high school team will definitely be stronger with this group coming up next year. Good job this season girls!!
