The Leopard ladies won the District 10 5A Championship in a big way April 1st and 2nd.  The girls set a new school record, again.  The team total 684 over the two days is a school record, beating the 691 mark they set earlier this spring.  This also our largest margin of victory, 137 shots.  We played our best golf this year.  The younger ladies are truly becoming good players.  Coach Moseley and Coach Carroll are so proud of the way they are playing.  They have worked hard, and it is paying off in a big way.

Day one the girls were confident and great.  There was no doubt we were the best team there. The team total 342 saw the girls with a big 72 shot lead.  Senior Team Captain, Allie Bianchi did what she has done all year.  Allie went out first, leading the way with a 73.  Marta Moreno followed with an 85.  Aurea Carlisle shot 93.  Meghan Spencer carded a 91, and Caroline Sessions finished off the top 5 girls with a 101.  Playing as individual medalists were Sydney Barker, Julia Brochu, and Jannat Verma.  Sydney shot 109.  Julia shot 115, and Jannat shot a 121.

Day two the girls feeling great, and chatting it up on the range.  We were all quite confident in what was about to happen.  After shooting 342 day one, we followed that up with another 342 team effort.  Allie again was the low score for the day, carding a 76.  Marta followed with an 87.  Aurea had her best tournament shooting an 88.  Meghan shot 91 again.  Caroline improved by turning in a 96.  Sydney shot 115.  Julia shot 106, and Jannat shot a 123.  This is the first time since 2013 the Leopard Girls are District Champions.  Way to go girls.
