Game 1 against Independence was a shutout performance from pitcher, Karsen Patterson.  She only gave up 2 hits, no earned runs, walked 2, and struck out 6 batters in the contest.  The defense only committed 1 error behind Patterson and Hannah Bohnenkamper was a wall behind the plate.  Offensively, Bohnenkamper walked and scored a run.  Avery Archer had 1 RBI.  Patterson walked and scored a run.  Garcia had 2 hits and scored twice.  Mia Chase walked twice and scored 2 runs.  Katie Dolberry had 1 hit, scored 2 runs, and had 1 RBI.  Rachel Hoeffner had 1 hit, scored a run, and had 1 RBI.

Game 2 against Heritage was a little closer in score due to the fact that Heritage kept fighting through the contest, but Lovejoy didn’t let up.  Lovejoy was up 6-0 before Heritage was able to score a run.  Patterson pitched and allowed only 1 earned run in the game.  Heritage had 7 runs on 5 hits compared to Lovejoy who had 10 runs on 2 hits.  The Lady Leopard hitters demonstrated patience at the plate drawing 8 walks in the contest.  Offensively, Bohnenkamper walked once and scored 2 runs.  Hoeffner walked 3 times and scored once.  Patterson walked once, had 1 hit, scored a run, and had 1 RBI. Game 4 was the Championship game against Northwest.  Northwest had 11 runs on 6 hits, but only 2 of the 11 runs were earned.  Patterson once again had a stellar performance and gave the team a chance to win, however, errors in the field caused the team to fall.  The Lady Leopards fought through the entire game despite the early deficit in the 1st inning.  Lovejoy fought back with 3 runs in the 2nd inning and 3 runs in the 4th inning, but it wasn’t enough to compete with the Northwest hitters.  Offensively, Bohnenkamper drew 2 walks, had 1 RBI, and scored a run.  Archer drew 1 walk and had 1 RBI.
