Lovejoy Golf is off to a good start.  Expectations are high this year.  We have a new district, and we feel our chances are very good to advance to the Regional Golf Tournament.  We just need to play solid golf this year.  The Varsity 1 Boy’s Team kicked off the year competing in the Wolverine Classic, Monday, September 17th.  The Leopards finished 2nd out of 15 teams competing at Frisco Lakes.

The guys shot a team total 312, which equals our school record set last year for a single day event.  Jay Pabin led the way with a 75.  Mason McClure shot 76.  Trent King followed with a 79.  Brian Wolfe and Aidan Weeks both shot 82.

September 19th the Varsity 2 and JV 1 boys competed in the RHS Inv, at Waterview GC.  The varsity boys shot a team total 335, which was good for 3rd place.  Lyndon Su shot 81.  Jack LeGare shot 83.  Dylan Dobbs shot 85. Derek Fisher and Deuce Spencer shot 86.

The JV boys finished 2nd with a team score 361.  Eric Wang shot 80.  Law Legg and Jacob King shot 93.  David Hull shot 95, and Mason Hartness shot 97.  Tommy Carevic and Caleb Coulson both competed as individuals.  Tommy shot 102, and Caleb shot 106.
