Peyton is a sophomore and has been playing soccer since she was five. While she moves around a lot position wise on the field, her favorite position is midfield.
Her favorite soccer memory was the Oregon Trail. Last season, the JV team was at a tournament in Greenville. It had rained the night before and our game was on a grass field. We had to walk through this wet and muddy field in order to get to our game. By the time we got there we were told our game had been moved. It was wet and muddy socks for everyone that day! Within the program, she most admires Kaylee because she can do those super cool tricks that Peyton doesn’t think she can do.
Outside of soccer, Peyton has numerous hobbies. She enjoys taking pictures and of course loves watching Netflix, but something most don’t know about Peyton is that she fosters kittens. She loves country music and the show New Girl.. If you’re looking for Peyton around town, check out your local Whataburger–she says it always hits the spot. If Peyton were to try another sport, she says she would try tennis.
If she could have one super power, Peyton would love to teleport, that way she wouldn’t have to pass her driver’s test. Her favorite movie is The Best of Me and the last great book she read was Awake by Natasha Preston.
Right now, Peyton would like to go to A&M to try and be with her sister who is transferring there. She wants to major in Biology and go down the medical path. We are thrilled to have Peyton in the soccer program. She has a cheerful disposition and a tireless work ethic. We are thankful for Peyton because as Lizzie would say, she puts in work in the midfield. We’re excited for what is in store for her this season and in the future.
