Boys Varsity Powerlifting · 1st Place @ Pearce Powerlifting Meet

1st PLACE!!!!! As a team we finished in 1st place with a total of 51 points. The second place team was 20 points behind us! What an incredible job by our boys tonight! I couldn’t be more proud as a coach! Every lifter set a new Personal Record during this meet!

Brock Prengler – 198 lb class – 2nd Place – 920 lb total
Max Dooley – 198 lb class – 1st Place – 1050 lb total
Sergio Arriaga – 220 lb class – 3rd Place – 1040 lb total
Kade Ashley – 220 lb class – 1st Place – 1220 lb total
Aaron Bankes – 275 lb class – 2nd Place – 1030 lb total
Lucas Anderson – 275 lb class – 1st Place – 1075 lb total
Zach Brooks was named “Best Lifter” for the 114-165 lb class. This is the second consecutive meet in which Zach has earned this honor!
Zach Brooks has set new school records in the 132 lb class for Squat (325 lbs), Bench (195 lbs), Dead Lift (365 lbs) and the overall total of 875 lbs.
Max Dooley has tied the school record in the 198 lb class for Bench (250 lbs).
Kade Ashley has set a new school record in the 220 lb class for Bench (350 lbs) and overall total of 1220 lbs.
I couldn’t more proud of the boys for the way they competed tonight and how they represented Lovejoy High School!

We are Region 6, Division 1.
Then click on your son’s weight class. This will bring up the most updated standings for the Region. The top 10 and ties in the region will advance to the Regional Powerlifting Meet on Saturday March 5th, 2016 at Everman High School.
Currently, Zach Brooks is ranked in a tie for 4th in the 132 lb class for the region and Adam Leiker is ranked in a tie for #10 in the 181 lb class. There are still a couple of weeks left in the season so we will keep a close eye on the rankings.
