Favorite Sport: Volleyball Why: I played this sport from middle school all the way through 4 years of college, so it is the sport I am most passionate about.
Favorite Athlete: Amy Neal Why: I love her attitude. She went to UT completely undersized for a hitter and not being able to make her way on the court to an All American volleyball player! She has the grit, heart, and work ethic I love seeing in athletes.
Favorite Coach: Jack Wilson Why: Coach Wilson is a spit fire! He coached me from my 7th grade year to my senior season. Not only did Coach Wilson teach me mechanic and skills, but he gave me tools to overcome adversity and taught me about the intangibles an athlete needs.
Athletic Background: HS-I played volleyball, basketball, and ran track, and I played 4 years of collegiate volleyball.
Athletic Awards: HS-2002 District honorable mention 2002. College- 2006 Tournament MVP, 2007 Defensive player of the year.
Coaching/Teaching Experience (Years): 5 years teaching 4 years coaching

Coaching Background: I coached club volleyball for 2 years in Amarillo, Texas, and I am currently in my 2nd year coaching here at Lovejoy.
Favorite Coaching Moment: I have had several incredible coaching moments, but a recent moment was winning a close basketball game right at the buzzer!
Philosophy of Coaching: I want to build a long, lasting foundation for success in all my athletes. I want them to leave the court with improved mechanics of that particular sport, but also to leave with better character, integrity, work ethic, and a healthy attitude towards competition.
Hobbies: Reading with a cup of coffee, Crossfit, shopping, and family movie nights
Something that people may not know about you: Cleaning is therapeutic for me.
Why Lovejoy ISD? People often ask me why I chose to coach and teach in Lovejoy. I can respond with great pride in being a part of a district that challenges students to not only be formidable athletes and intellects, but calls to students to develop their work ethic, study habits, effort levels and social awareness. Lovejoy offers opportunities to develop the well-rounded graduate, and I couldn’t wait to be a part of that vision.
