Game Recap

The Freshmen Lady Leopards started out with an easy win in the first set against McKinney Boyd, but set two proved to be a tougher match up. Aggressive serving played a role in the win with Lovejoy serving a total of 16 aces, 13 of which were in the second set. The set was tied at 13 all, but Hope Ledebur’s 7 consecutive aces pushed the Lady Leopards ahead and they would hold on for the win. Ashlyn White had 8 digs for the Leopards, Mackenzie Konrad-Roberts had 6 digs and 5 kills, Meredith Balette had 5 kills, and Juliet Cano had 11 assists. Lovejoy moves to 8-2 overall and will begin district play this Friday at home against Mesquite Poteet.
