Game Recap

Lovejoy Leopards Varsity Baseball Loses Lead Early In Defeat Against Hallsville.

Lovejoy watched Game 2 slip away in the first round of the Bi-District playoffs early against Hallsville, and couldn’t recover in a 4-1 loss on Saturday. Jacob Terwilliger took the loss for Lovejoy. He pitched four and a third innings, giving up three runs, eight hits, striking out three, and walking one. Michael DiFiore Reed Fraser, Matt Almy, Luke Howell, and Grant Doig each managed one hit to lead the Leopards.

Congratulations to the Varsity baseball team for an outstanding season finishing 14-17 and 8-6 in district. We want to thank ALL the Seniors for their hard work and wish them the best of luck in the future.

GO LEOPARDS!
