Lovejoy Varsity Baseball Can’t Hold Up Against Hallsville In Game 1 Of The First Round Of The Playoffs
The Leopards fell to Hallsville 12-1 in the first game of round one of the playoffs. Lovejoy took an early lead in the first inning. With two outs in the first inning Jacob Eschler drove in one run when he singled. Hallsville took the lead for good with five runs in the second inning. Mason Marsh took the loss for Lovejoy. He tossed two innings, surrendering seven runs, five hits, and striking out one. Eschler led the Leopards with one run batted in, and went 2-for-2 on the day.

Game 2 will be played at 3:30 at Lovejoy, if Lovejoy wins game 2, game 3 will follow 30 minutes after the completion of game 2. Come out and support the Leopards!
