Meet Recap

The Lovejoy Women’s Varsity Golf Teams competed Tuesday, November 1st, in the 2nd Annual Lovejoy Invitational Tournament held at Heritage Ranch Country Club. With 140 players representing 16 high schools from around the area we hosted a very big golf tournament. Thank you so much to all the volunteers from the Heritage Ranch Community. Without you it would have been a very long day. Also a big thank you to the Hole In One Club members that were assisting as well. They did a tremendous job at posting live scores through Birdifire. The tournament was a huge success.

The ladies are showing they plan to be a contender at the district tournament in April this year. “With each tournament we are growing and improving. The youth of the girls team has had it’s growing pains, but we are figuring things out about ourselves. We have to learn the aggressive smart play. The girls are learning to handle the moment. They are working hard and preparing for April.”

Lovejoy posted a 3rd and a 5th place finish the varsity teams. The “Black” team shot a 363 total team score. Individual scores: Allie Bianchi 79 (4th place overall) Katie Dragoo 83 (5th place overall) Mallory Sailer 96, Savanna Roulette 105, and Annie Dale 106.
The “Red” team shot a 391 team total score. Individual scores: Kendall Sailer 91, Callie Mayfield 96, Jazmine Veatch 98, Sophie Starnes 106, and Alyssa Paranteau 107.
