The boy’s basketball team traveled to Norman, Oklahoma to compete in the OU Team Camp this past week.

The boy’s played in the Elite Division and faced some strong competition throughout the week, including Edmund North High School who was ranked as high as #15 in the country last year.

The boys played very tough this weekend including a 3 point buzzer beater win over Ada, Oklahoma.

On Saturday morning, we played Midwest City.  Oklahoma head Coach Kruger watched nearly the entire game.  The Leopards ended up losing a heartbreaker by 2 points but Coach Kruger came by and was very impressed with our team.

In bracket play,  the Leopards beat Owasso High School in the 1st round Saturday morning, but fell to a Tulsa Memorial team that lost in the Oklahoma state finals last year.

The boys had a great time all week long watching the NBA finals together and playing cards in their down time.

A big thanks to Tom Supan and Angie Fisher for driving and to Coach Vansell for all of his support.
